I'd just like to point this out:

https://www.emcdda.europa.eu/publications/drug-profiles/fentanyl_en#:~:text=The%20estimated%20lethal%20dose%20of,poly%2Dsubstance%20use%20was%20involved.

Overdose results in respiratory depression which is reversible with naloxone. Sudden death can also occur because of cardiac arrest or severe anaphylactic reaction. The estimated lethal dose of fentanyl in humans is 2 mg. The recommended serum concentration for analgesia is 1–2 ng/ml and for anaesthesia it is 10–20 ng/ml. Blood concentrations of approximately 7 ng/ml or greater have been associated with fatalities where poly-substance use was involved.

Not administering naloxone won't be relevant because he wasn't exhibiting when he initially started wrestling the group of cops.

If he had said "I swallowed a shit load of drugs and can't breath", they might have saved him. But he didn't. They had no reason to suspect an OD.

I dunno, some of my EMT friends said narcan is absolutely useless in cases of fentanyl use. It has a little effect, but not much.

That's reference to the potency of the drug. IMO.

Cops get saved by it all the time, after accidental exposure. Just touching the shit that they never saw, residue on something, and they go down.

The margins between getting high and accidentally taking a massively lethal dose, are minute.

It doesn't take much, then naloxone or whatever is like a bandaid on a bullet hole in your head.

Coulda just been a misunderstanding on the part of the EMT. He claimed that Narcan had much more affinity to the morphine receptors than, well, morphine/heroin so it worked by butting in there. But fentanyl was different and Narcan wasn't nearly as effective in those cases.

Ahh gotto love the Chinese-made fentanyl.

I said it in the very beginning when he died. You also just can't look at the Fentanyl, you must also look at the Norfentanyl, which means his body was still breaking down the Fentanyl so the dose was even hire, and he also had morphine as well.

Even if you subtracted all of the contributing factors, massive opiate overdose, Covid, multiple serious heart conditions, even if he was totally healthy. At his age, wrestling a whole group of cops can cause a heart attack.

Either way, the knee to the neck is totally SOP, exactly how the officer and all officers are trained. He wasn't choked, he was restrained because he was smashing his head in to things.

Was there something in the video that indicated that he consumed it quickly to not be in possession?

I can’t tell if you’re asking seriously or not but in the event that you are being serious or someone reading is unaware, yes you can see him eat his drugs in the footage.

There's actually pictures of it in his mouth too.

Yeah, you can see him with bags of drugs in his mouth. That's what the whole thing was about. He made a scene and wrestled because he wanted a chance to swallow the drugs. And he OD'd on a massive amount of opiates. Opiates suppress your breathing, so he couldn't breath.

He also had multiple potentially fatal heart conditions. And he had Covid.

There shouldn't be a trial. It's an attempted political lynching.

The only reason the dude was awake at all with that cocktail is because of the meth
