They call it some kind of premium subscription service where they allow you to submit articles_ideas, or you can just pay once to have an article featured or something. I assume they have an original team of writers and get requests from other people about hiring, but instead of hiring, they want you to pay them for content you created. Lol what. Has anyone else seen that and looked into it on their facts/about page.

Theyre operating like they're performing a service for you by paying them for your own ideas. I wouldnt do that for free, let alone pay them for it. But they're charging people like they're writing your autobiography or something, and you both get the profits from the book sales.
