I looked into if they were hiring writers and they actually made it so you had to pay THEM in order to write for them. They call it some kind of premium subscription service where they allow you to submit articles_ideas, or you can just pay once to have an article featured or something. I assume they have an original team of writers and get requests from other people about hiring, but instead of hiring, they want you to pay them for content you created. Lol what. Has anyone else seen that and looked into it on their facts/about page.
I think that's such bullshit, I legit lol'd when I read their info page. Not even hiring, but charging to come up with ideas for jokes lol. Theyre operating like they're performing a service for you by paying them for your own ideas. I wouldnt do that for free, let alone pay them for it. Like if I told a comedian to do a bit about transgender drag queens cant read Dr Seuss to little kids, and the comedian charged ME for the idea I gave him to develop for his routine. But they're charging people like they're writing your autobiography or something, and you both get the profits from the book sales. I'll make memes all day for fun that the whole internet can share and no one has any expectations of compensation, but that's different than paying a site to feature something you thought of, even if they "come up with the rest" or whatever. It's not like commissioning someone to do a painting or tattoo. Youre coming up with content ideas for their website.
