As someone who worked in the grocery industry, the companies usually aren't owned by who they say they are anyway. Industry I'm in now, a lot of times guys will register their company in their wife's name so they can say it's "woman owned." Contractors play games like this to win jobs because many cities and organizations have racist/sexist policy that requires x number of jobs to go to female or minority owned companies.
