No, this a real phenomenon,]. Vaccines are not enough to prevent infection in people with compromised immune systems, which is why they want to vaccinate enough people to reach herd immunity.
Yes the "vaccine" doesn't prevent you from getting COVID, it just reduces the symptoms. Its essentially a theraputic at this point.
I think the vaccine is a bit of a strange quandry. The people who need it the most are the elderly, since the young have a 99.7% chance of surviving. But a ton of money was put into it. so waste all this money on old sick people who are close to deaths door anyways. I mean even this story is about a 95 year old women getting the Vaxs. This women is 95 if COVID didn't get her a hang nail will.
The vaccine just lower risk of death and hospilization, but that trends older. So spend billions to get it out to old people who are on deaths door anyways, so you can extend their lives for a year or 2.
Honestly as cruel as it is, should have basically inoculated the 45-65 age group first, get em back to work and open everything up. For some reason the US has a higher death rate there then alot of the world, I blame fatties as per CDC latest news.
Two reasons for the higher death rate: 1) overcounts; 2) failure to use the early outpatient treatments devised by our clinicians to treat symptomatic people who test positive.
I will just keep taking my zinc and D3 supplements instead of ever thinking or considering any Covid shot...
My wife has had it twice since July 2020 and myself nor my kids nor immediate family was infected.
