There is another bill that will be coming to prevent that as well. Yes I know people can still do it. But if that bill I speak off passes then it'll make it difficult to obtain the jigs and 80%s. They are eyeing 3d printers but I don't think there are any restrictions planned for them yet. I think they have already made the files illegal to have. HR 1477 & 1454
Nope, first amendment prevents that. They can ban whatever they like, and all they do is incentivize people learning to produce the precursor themselves.
California made ammo hard to get an tons of people started learning to (re)load.
There are people, right now, learning to make their own primers.
Rolling and shaping brass from a sheet into a case seems impossible, but casting a bullet or priming a case seem equally impossible until you learn that presses, molds, and block lead exist.
They are creating independence from centralized industry, and they'll no more succeed at this than they did at banning drugs.
