I believe that’s one characteristic that many of us share. It would be hard to be a Trump supporter all these years if we didn’t show courage in the face of adversity.
100% this. The last 4 years have finally freed me from the few shreds of fucks given for other peoples' opinions of me. And cemented my resolve.
Conservative populism is here to stay, and there's nothing wrong with wanting to preserve your nation's values and culture. It's only wrong when America does it, it's fine for everyone else. Fucking hypocrites.
I’m a peaceful man, but I’ve been known to lay out a dude from time to time. If 11 came at me I’d be going for eyes and balls, no honor left in me at that point.
Nope, has to be unanimous in every state. If a jury can't come to a unanimous decision, they are a "hung jury" and a mistrial is declared. The state can choose to re-try you, or drop the charges, but I believe they can only try you 3 times, barring gross misconduct that causes a mistrial.
Well thats one sane juror, I bet the rest are fucking crack heads
It takes one with huevos. Anyone can have principals when they're not locked in a room with 11 people frothing at the mouth for blood.
I find it easier, not harder, to stand by principles in the face of angry ideologues.
Their rage gives me courage.

They’d be locked in with me, not me with them.

Are you sure? I thought it changes by state. Is a 10 to 2 vote not guilty?

Good to know. It must be civil litigation maybe then that is different.
So what happens if it’s 11-1 and a hung jury? Is it a retrial? How many times?
They will be on Witness Protection after the trail ends and they do not convict.
