I like Mike, I really do. His products are great and I think him wanting to start a recovery network is a noble cause. But in my opinion he's going to far here.
There are already plenty of alternate social media sites cropping up or becoming popular, Gab, Parlor, MeeWee, and Gitmo.life, are 4 that I can think of with out any effort. He would be better suited trying to support someone who already has experience, rather than trying to start out on his own in a field he has no knowledge about.
Of the listed sites, only GAB has a real commitment to free speech. The others are still censoring, even if they aren't as hard core as FB and twitter.
The problem with 100% anonymous forums like that is that they always get over run with disgusting pedos which ultimately runs everyone off. Then there is also the problem of edgy personalities who do shit just because they can and it actually hurts the conversation instead of promoting a healthy exchange of ideas.
Not necessarily. There's automoderation like what is used on this site. It wouldn't be hard to have an automod that was assisted by a human mod to ban pedos. Pretty sure that's essentially how this site works.

One problem with sites like Facebook is that they belong to an oligopoly. More competitors is always better, because it creates an incentive to improve the product. For Facebook and Twitter, you are the product so the focus is on making you spend as much time as possible on their site.
He was on Charlie Kirk's show the other day and talked about this as well as many other things about the election fraud, social media, a new documentary surrounding the role of China in stealing the election. You guys oughta check it out.
I am tired of this guy. Rather than wasting more money on something that is damn near impossible to get off the ground and popular (Google couldn't even do it) he should help gab in their fight. Problem with those on the right is they never unite, everyone wants to do their own thing and try to make the big bucks rather than win the current culture war that is going on. Hell, it is beyond a culture war. This is a war for the entire country and our very souls.
