This year has been the single biggest year in history to SHOW parents why they should homeschool. My kids have made so many comments about how they prefer learning with me because, “teachers don’t help they tell you sit down and quietly figure it out.” For the record, my kids are at the top of their classes, academically.... so it makes my heart hurt for kids who struggle daily with content. My concern isn’t making sure kids are ready for some arbitrary state test, but making sure my kids understand the content before them.... they’ve noticed the difference and so have I!
