I've seen plenty of Hollywood horror effects - from awful to incredible, but there's something about this one that is genuinely disturbing on a visceral level.
I'm sure that that's not the answer - although it sure as hell does look like that. I'm not an expert on deepfake videos but I don't think this is some sort of deepfake artifact.
