Young people have not experienced what we experienced. Half the shit we did as kids would be considered domestic terrorism today and we grew up with options in life. We could go to college or get a high paying job nearby, start a business, speak our mind, and forge relationships in our community. We were allowed to be who we wanted to be without being attacked for it.

This generation only hears the stories but never have experienced them and they have seen more wars, plandemics, hate, riots, and identity/race politics than we ever did. We didn't worry about what we said as homophobic or racist it was just considered crude or in bad taste and there were no reprecussions. Now young people are conscious of everything they say and do and are being scruitinized for it. Most just want to fit in than stand out.

GhostP - I think we are all to blame and I never really appreciated our country until Trump came along and then I started to see the hatred for not only Trump but America and it came from the most priviledged of society, mostly white liberals who play minorities and the poor against their white neighbors while they loot and steal and watch us bicker over the crumbs for their entertainment.

Yeah, it's all so infuriating. We are watching our country implode and no one is stopping it.
