Mask nazi's are worse now in Texas than they were before Abbott lifted the mandate. Craziness abounds.

It was the only sense of purpose liberals had.

BTW, here in Blue State New Jersey, the Governor is just now going to allow restaurant capacity to 50% next week (up from currently 35%).

Until you walk into a big box retailer who “trusts the science.”

Post them, we'll boycott them all, more.

I will straight up drop my groceries and walk out if they hassle me on masks.

By the way, I forgot where I left that frozen fish... I am sure it will turn up.

Exactly, time to take a stand and abandon carts if they demand we wear a mask. Print this out and hand it to the Faucists: https://i.maga.host/k7rgqjM.png

Off the top of my head:

Walmart Krogers Target HEB (currently not "enforcing" but employees are protesting for enforcement).

Also a restaurant in Louisiana is charging a "Texas Surcharge" to those not wearing masks. $50 for being told to put on a mask, $75 if you argue.

CovfefeNegro 3 points ago +3 / -0

'Imma telling you for the tenth time to put on your fooking mask! That'll be 500 dollah too'! RRrreeeeeeeeeee....

We haven't been wearing masks into our walmart or HEB out here, don't have target or krogers handy.

Everyone's mileage is gonna vary, and we all need to confront the mask karens in real time to keep pressure on them. If we're lucky they'll crack and have nervous breakdowns, go all kareny on us, expose themselves as obviously what they are.

I intend to have a LOT of fun with this, any pain karens have caused is fixing to be returned in mass quantities.

Wish someone would try to fine me at a restaurant for not wearing my mask.

PodunkTexas [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

That is true. H-E-B and Wal-Mart will probably still require them to shop there. Most of the small towns around here have stopped mandating masks in their stores, so I will take my dirty, infected money to those places.

As for HEB...I haven't wore a mask in my local store for many months now...I asked and their policy was to not confront customers....same with Bucees

Pancho_Lefty 7 points ago +7 / -0

Walmart stopped enforcing it early on. I haven't worn a mask into a Walmart in months. They still have signage up, but they don't confront maskless customers.

No on H.E.B. Apparently 2,000 argumentative Houstonians was all it took.

No one gave me shit at Loews last Friday

They never had the right to force it in the first place.

Should have happened 12 months ago.

Toughsky_Shitsky 5 points ago +5 / -0

Should never have been needed.

Locking down free Americans should have brought out the pitchforks.

2020 will be remembered as one of the saddest years in American history .. and a LOT of elected assholes are responsible.

According to today’s poll by the Texas Restaurant Association, 70% of restaurants will still require masks. I can only imagine what this implies for the other retailers as the restaurant mask requirement was always the dumbest of them all.

All the major stores including grocery stores are still requiring masks along with many mom and pop stores as well, at least in the major cities, which are all blue strongholds. Will be interesting to see over the next few weeks if these establishments will actually harass customers for not wearing masks.

I like to go to coffee shops with my laptop. Used to do it in Starbucks all the time. Then they went far-left, so I look for no-name places. There's one left in my town that let us do stuff inside. So I patron them.

Today, with freedom returning, I went to another local place. Same as before. Masks inside. No sitting inside. Feel free to sit outside. Asked them how long they were going to do it. "Until, you know, things...."

So... going to patronize that there place a bit longer.

Let the market sort it out then like it should’ve been from the start.

Some crappy Applebee’s wants you to wear a mask why a local bar doesn’t care? That’s call capitalism.

You smell like faggots who are grateful that the government gave a little freedom back.

10
Toughsky_Shitsky 10 points ago +10 / -0

This.

Stop celebrating and start holding elected cunts responsible for taking your freedoms over the seasonal sniffles.

This would have been a lot more powerful if Texas had never had either. You know, like South Dakota.

Gravity 3 points ago +3 / -0

Walked into HEB outside of Austin and greeter told me "you need a mask to come inside." I nodded, kept walking, never looked back. No one inside was without a mask except me. I grabbed what I needed, headed to self checkout and was gone in about 2 minutes. Worse now than it was before the mandate was lifted.

2
PodunkTexas [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

I guess it was not far enough 'outside Austin'. :-) If infection rates go up I am going to blame the plague rats coming across our open border and not the removal of the mask mandate.

2
Homemade-Soap 2 points ago +2 / -0

It won't truly smell like freedom till you secede. But I'm glad the mandated bullshit is ending.

State mandate gone but local city/county mandates still all over the place from what I understand.

Who's in for some WHATABURGER?

6
covfefeandpie 6 points ago +6 / -0

I just had my whataburger after going to Sam's with no mask and actually saw 3 rows of MyPillows in there! Good day! They asked if we needed masked and I politely declined and that was the end of it. Way more people with masks on than I expected but that's sheep mentality for ya.

1
Ebbie8708 1 point ago +1 / -0

It feels like CA and NY will be open again waiting for Whataburger sometimes.

Really good food tho

Finally!

1
ProudlyConservative 1 point ago +1 / -0

In the Dallas Fort Worth area everyone is still requiring masks. (that includes grocery stores, Walmart, Target, schools, restaurants and churches). Nothing has changed as far as masks go.

2
BreakfastGun 2 points ago +2 / -0

All the more reason to keep up the good fight. Enter the establishments maskless and conduct your transaction while ignoring their "policy." We should organize large maskless shopping trips.

One year of tyranny and now, one day of freedom! They're marvellous!
