even with filibuster? how?

Democrats control the senate (with any tie-breaking vote to be swung by Harris). They are going to change the filibuster rule.

Do you not understand how the filibuster works?

You need 60 senators to cancel out the filibuster. You think 10 Republicans are going to vote to get rid of the only thing that gives them power?

SPOILER: They're not. If for nothing else, but to retain control of their own power.

There are two Democrats that are flat out against removing the filibuster, by the way. That's 52-48. Even if Kunt Harris was there, she couldn't do shit about it. This is saving throw that the filibuster provides.

You know how many RINOs are in the senate?

People here don't understand the reconciliation that spending bills fall under. HR 1 & police "reform" do not fall under them

Method #1 - Democrats eliminate the filibuster. They originally said no, but they're backtracking.

Method #2 - 10 Rinos are blackmailed/cucked into going along with it.

RINO's don't want to give up their power or influence. Voting to remove the filibuster is literally them cutting their own throats.

They won't vote to remove for the simple fact that they're be killing any power or influence they have.

Because they know Democrats won't be fair and they will get rid of Republicans at any chance. Including RINO's.

They hate ALL Republicans.

Complete miracle that filibuster is still intact. Like holy shit, we might have a fighting chance in 2022

Thing is, the main reason they're trying to pass HR 1 is because they're terrified of midterms (2022 & 2024) because they used all their might on Trump coup (yet Republicans hardly lost any seats), and 2022 will make them lose even more seats.

They want to be able to steal future elections without having to work for it like they did in 2020.

The reason they didn't do well in the House in 2020 is that the fraud was focused on 4 cities in swing states, while Biden and Democrats underperformed everywhere else. They did pull off the steal of 2 Senate seats in Georgia, which is why we're even having this debate.

I don't see why they even care. If you can do unlimited fraud with no consequences, why do you need HR1? They need a way to control the states that haven't been fully compromised yet.

Would be weird if 10 went along considering none voted for it in House

This is a good point. There were almost 60 who voted to impeach Trump.

Manchin is thinking of changing his stance on eliminating the filibuster.

If Supreme Court justices can be compromised, then it isn't that hard to compromise 10 Senators.
