So I was wondering what a Donald Trump Republican Party would look like, but I am also wondering what everyone on here thinks the policies and ideology of the new rebirth of the Republican Party should look like.
Now I think there is a really great opportunity here to make the Republican Party less corrupt and more principled once Trump runs for reelection and once the corrupt Rhinos and Pseudo Republicans are thrown into primaries.
I just want to ask everyone some simple questions and you can make them as complex or as detailed as you want. The more detailed the better.
Thoughts on abortion?
Thoughts on what the 28th Amendment should be and so on?
Thoughts on Ideology? (Like either being more individualistic or collectivist or authoritarian or etc...)
Thoughts on States Right and Federal Law?
Thoughts on any social/local issues?
Thoughts on Foreign Policy?
I would like to know how you guys think and see the world. I know you will keep it civil. Also feel free to ask me or add any new thoughts.
Abortion is abhorrent in my opinion. Should only be allowed in cases of incest, convicted rape, and certain death for mother or child. Still dont agree with it in most of those cases either but it is a moral grey area.
The 28th amendment is pretty trash. From what I read, it wants to abolish the electoral college and have government housing and healthcare and a few other things.
I think that their should be some sort of directive or legislation or something that mandates personal responsibility in regards to hurting yourself or others and being offended. Opening up avenues for people who have been cancelled for other people being offended and for companies that are used in the wrong way. Like in the rare cases where someone uses gorilla glue for hair spray. The company cant be sued. And in the case of personal safety. The government shouldnt be allowed to lock you down for your own safety. Your safety and feelings are your own responsibility.
The states should be able to function in the way that they see fit with the exception of federal elections. Local and state elections should be run under the local and state rules but federal elections should be run under federal rules. I'm hoping for voter id and no ballot harvesting
Social and local issues are a bit vague for me to give my opinion.
I'm a bit of an isolationist on foreign policy. But I do wish that we make it a crime to give cash to foreign countries in favor of creating a federal institution that does foreign outreach projects using American contractors. For instance, I'm not going to give you 100 million for gender equality programs but I'd send a team of professors or teachers to teach these programs. I'm not going to give you 50 million for a road but this American crew will build it.
