I ordered about 200 dollars worth of food for takeout for me and my family today.
Went to go pick it up and the hostess told me I needed to wear a mask. Texas has lifted the order but individual businesses can still require them. I told her I don't have one and I'm only picking up a to go order. She says I need a mask so I tell her "nah I'm good, just cancel my order for xxxx". I walk out and start driving towards a more based restaurant. Get a phone call from manager who asks if I could come back and they would bring my food out to me. Told her no, I'm not going back I already ordered from another restaurant. She says "you ordered the food, we made it, you need to come pay for it". I just laugh and say no thanks. Enjoy my food and margaritas restaurant staff, hopefully it comes out of your boss's pocket.
Just wanted to share
Costco is a joke. Everything about the way they've handled this situation is the opposite of what it should be. IDFAF if they have the best protein bars, I'm done. Membership cancelled, will never return.
Just get Essential Amino Acids from Bulk Supplements. It's 5x better than whey protein anyhow and way cheaper. Get a 2.2 lb bag for around $35. I take 15 grams (1 tablespoon) twice a day in water. Lasts ~67 days. Stuff is bitter. Get some cocoa powder (natural, no sugar) and a blender bottle. I started out doing 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, cut it back to 1 teaspoon after a while. You could also get powdered pb if you want some taste. I'm just too cheap.
We only use/absorb 20% of whey protein. "plant-based" protein only yields us 10% of whatever the grams are (20 gram plant protein bar = 2 grams of protein lol). ~99% of the Essential Amino Acids are absorbed/used. So 15 grams of EAA is like 75 grams (5x) whey protein. Eggs, another cheap great protein source, are 96-99% too. I love steak, too, 80-90% absorption, but it's too expensive for me to eat every day.
Based on which measure? Most literature ranks whey protein north of 95% bioavailability.
Trust the broscience...
Anyway, my protein.com has pretty good stuff. Expensive as hell but they regularly run sales of 50% off.
