Ummm, those are just examples of a private company not wanting to associate itself with certain books. Doesn't have anything to do with the government banning said books.

Allowing private businesses to decide what products to supply is a slippery slope?

I don't think you would expect a smaller privately owned bookshop to stock a book on Queer Trans Feminist Theory if they didnt want to.

If I was in the book business I would supply my customers with any book they wanted to read no questions asked. Hell, if one were so inclined, one could build a based business model around just that. Patriot Book Company. If you want to read it, we’ll find it and send it to you, for a fee. Free shipping!

But there is a difference between starting a book store that delivers any book you want and forcing every private bookstore to sell all books.

They key is you want to supply every book I dont imagine a evangelist bookshop would like having to sell "How to raise a child as a Homosexual couple"

Publishers won't publish books that can't be sold on Amazon. Amazon controls the market.

It seems like this private company has more power over this specific market than the federal government does.

Gonna need a source that no company will publish a book that cant be sold on Amazon.

Also there is a thing called self publishing.
