But I wouldn't want that job. Imagine who you'd have to hang around... No thanks.

That's part of the problem. Principled people typically don't seek government power.

True, Congress is gone and has been. The focus should be on local and state elections where actual change can take place on short timetables. Congress and DC is fucked if the states become strong (they're powerful rn because all of the states are weak as shit). If Trump doesn't understand this then he shouldn't be looked to as a figurehead anymore.

I'm certainly open to the notion that Trump doesn't understand everything we should be doing to best take back our country.

But the point of having a game changer like the terrible orange man is that he can revolutionize what's achievable in ways previously considered impossible...
