I made a post on the conservative subredded about how there's too many liberal trolls and how we should be banning them and half of the conservatives in the subreddit want them there. They want the liberal trolls. And they're unwilling to do what's necessary to fight for their own ideology.. if you ever needed any more proof that old school conservatism is dead that's it. The fact that the people that support old school conservatism I just incapable of surviving. They don't have what it takes to do what's necessary..
It's darwinism. Survival of the fittest. The group that's more fit to survive Will survive and the ones that aren't won't..
Conservatism is dying for the most part because the people that identify as conservatives are just trash people unable to fight for their own ideology..
I think part of it is that conservatives censor themselves way too much. They're still worried about being liked, and that's a fundamental problem.
Looking at the replies its mostly they want to be "inclusive" to a group that wants to kill them
it's the same as the stupid people that want to allow refugees that have ties to isis and want to destroy america..
instead of creating a subreddit for conservatives to discuss things they wanted to be mostly a left-wing subreddit with some conservativess
I wonder if it is because conservatism is so ill defined. I mean, to me it means the Constitution, limited Government and regulations and individual rights. Others have different beliefs that may or may not incorporate mine. Personally, I agree with you in that Conservatives are weaksauce.
I mean that's part of it.. but it's mostly that it's a lot of Boomers and the type of people that tend to be attracted and drawn to the Republican Party are the exact last people you want fighting on your side. Because there's such shitty fighters..

For the Republican establishment they're the perfect voter. Obviously the Republican establishment sees nothing wrong with that. Old lazy stupid people that will believe whatever you tell them repeat whatever you're talking points you give them and loyally go and vote for you every four years without asking for anything in return? That's a corrupt politicians dream..
Too lazy to go out and protest. Too lazy to go out and demand things of their representatives. but simultaneously just motivated enough to repeat whatever you tell them on Fox News and to make sure that they get out to the polls once every 4 years to reelect you..

Very gullible and without a good understanding of politics so you can easily hand them talking points and just have them repeat it. And far too lazy to get up and do anything if they actually get pissedd (which thankfully only usually happens when you want them to be pissed))

So if you're a corrupt politician and you want voters that are easily to manipulate and too lazy to demand anything of you but will still vote for you each and every time then the people that are drawn to conservatism are the best ones.. of course if you're trying to start a movement they're the worst on
