Thank you for creating this thread. There have been too many doomer crybabies here lately who moan about how hopeless things are and act like they're ready to just lay down and let this country die. At least some of us here feel that the future is worth fighting for. It won't be quick or easy, but if we fight back we might be able to turn things around. If we just give up and whine about how America is dead, the left is guaranteed to win.

I had a small hope spot today. For the last few years I've known a guy who is pretty much a typical NPC; he got his news from late night comedians and thought that Trump was the worst person ever. A few months back I heard him starting to complain about contradictory and nonsensical covid guidelines. Today I heard him complaining about cancel culture. People are slowly waking up.
