Literally not the same book.
Slight variations isn't even close. It's only called a Abrahamic religion because Muhammad wasn't creative enough to write an entire book of his own with an original backstory, so he took some things from the Bible.
Muhammad's goal was to conquer and control an empire. Creating a religion was his method to gain support and that worked surprisingly well.
take out the newly added muhammad bit and you are left with the same book. just like mormonism, remove joseph smith and you're left with the same thing, take out l. ron hubbard, and you're left with the bible. the difference between all of them, including judaism, with christianity, is that we have the new testament, and believe the things Christ said, word for word.
