To be honest, not that big of a deal so long as he doesn't act on that view, and I doubt he would. People here are quick to 100% reject someone based off a <100% "betrayal". It's a bad strategy to win. It might work on this site because we are individually powerless, but for people in politics at the state and federal levels, if you don't unite on similarities and compromise on differences, you won't get very far. You'll be lucky to be a Sanders type politician
