Visible signs of GOD's presence?

Can we prove the phenomena is first true, and second (and more importantly) of GOD?

If course not. It's possible, but who knows?

What we do know is that we have the completed Revelation of GOD in the Word of GOD, the Bible. We should first look there for truth and evidence of GOD's presence.

Anything that is not the Word, should be weighed against it to see if is synonymous with what GOD has already said.

Agreed. But I find the faith portion most interesting... I mean, with all that is happening in the world, the amount of uncertainty, fear, hopelessness, I honestly believe that the faith aspect alone can be of tremendous strength to those struggling. It's kind of like the idea that help is on it's way, so fight on! if you get what i mean...

I can't cast the first stone of "no such thing as specific answered prayer".

Because I can think of one notable anecdote where I told no one and saw a very specific set of circumstances take place without my seeking it our or affecting its happening at all.

Was that GOD doing a thing?

Romans 14:6

He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

I trust that He did and move on in faith in Christ. Only GOD knows if it was legit Him or just a coincedence.

2 Timothy 2:19

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Appreciated. I'm kind of in the same boat as you. What I find most fascinating is the faith aspect, and often wonder if 'faith' gives the strength to continue forward during adversity, when perhaps nothing else can or does. (?) And I think that today, with covid, state of the world etc, many people are searching for something to help them make sense of it all... Just my opinion obviously.

I think scripture teaches the lesson clearly.

I will stand for Christ on the Word of GOD. When they come to kill me, then I will die. And until I do, then I must choose to continue trusting GOD as I move forward seeking him.

Amen. I guess my thoughts lately have been that with so much fear, hopelessness, uncertainty today, that faith can often be the only thing which might help a person continue on with hope... And I can't help but feel that that is one of the major reasons why our religious beliefs are under such attack (ie: forced closures of church and banning people from coming together). I think the powerful want people to believe that Christ doesn't have the answers, that you can only trust them... my thoughts.

You are never alone of you place your trust in Christ, Hebrews 13:5. Seek out those who are like minded and be encouraged.

Worst case scenario, you can Follow me as I follow Christ.
