Chauvin is a piece of shit. Accountability needs to be enforced regardless of party lines.
Even if he is a piece of crap, he doesn't deserve the 2nd degree murder charge & it's hard to argue manslaughter when Floyd had fentanyl & meth AND his department taught him to use the technique.
And we know even manslaughter is going to cause a riot
Did you read Floyd's autopsy? He didn't die from a knee on his neck.
It was a contributing factor and regardless, I don't see how anyone could watch that full footage and think the officers approach was justified when there was zero resistance and a continual pleading for air. You're going to put that much pressure on a dudes back for 9 minutes when it's clear he's struggling to get oygen and you have 3 other officers with you? Fuck that.
