Hello, fellow pedes. Like any good patriot, I downvote every video posted by the resident potatus on the White House youtube channel. I go to their video list, play each video, pause it immediately, downvote, and repeat for the next.

Now the interesting part is that the videos always have the full red bar underneath showing that I watched the full video, whether it's only a minute long or hours long.. doesn't matter. It acts as if I watched it all.

If I do the same for videos on other pages, it leaves the red bar at the point of the video that I left off at.

From my knowledge, youtube requires 30 seconds of watch time before counting you as a view, and I'm nowhere close to that (maybe 1-2 seconds before I pause).

I of course know that big tech is helping the potatus in every way possible and I would have no doubt that they are faking views by using this method... which is pretty abysmal seeing as though the view count is already microscopic. I'm wondering if others have noticed this happening to them too and if you have any suggestions on how I can downvote without giving them a view.
