On "womens day" a day or two ago (honestly can't remember, time runs together), the statement was first in the day on Hulu
"come watch movies and tv shows created by women and women identifying individuals)
By the end of the day it just said women and dropped the identifying part. Probably cause people complained and said "if they identify as women, then they are women"
I just found that funny. Either one is woke. We just suffered through black history month and then they hit us with international womens day and then in a few short months it'll be gay pride month in June. Our years are just a revolving social justice circus now.
Sorry for the rant, it was only slightly related to this post. But on topic yeah, I have no earthly idea why people ever took Greta seriously and how she ever got elevated. Science is elevated in peoples hearts and minds to an almost godlike position where if someone comes talking the positions that scientists say is correct, they are taken seriously against all odds. The type of science that is hard, that reproduces things, invents things, this is fine, but the type of science that attempts to explain the world is elevated to the same degree, and people don't understand the differences between the two sciences.
One type only ever either works or doesn't, and the other is very easy to be bent to the whims of whatever cultural pet issue is emphasized at present.
