It blows my mind that people don’t consider that beaten and emotionally battered women don’t want to share sleeping quarters, bathrooms, and showers with biological men.
The counter point someone used once in the past was how do you think they would feel at a men’s shelter surrounded by men? I said what men’s shelters?
Homeless shelters also separate based on gender for safety. Having volunteered to help, I learned they do this for the safety of the women.
So in that case that would be a men’s shelter, but it is for homeless. Not a battered shelter. Men have nothing like that.
That’s my issue. It hurts no one to fund some but any effort for them is shut down. So now they complain these people have no where to go other than a homeless shelter. Well who’s fault is that now?
That guy is a hate filled nut case. You aren’t fixing him. He is a twisted bag of hate and crazy. A few years in a mental institution might do him good
