from my understanding, Mao's China was more communist, while Jinping's China is more fascist (in the literal sense).

Theyre all communist. Communist China is a mirror image of Communist Soviet Russia- with way more technology.

No matter what we call it, its Left Wing Authoritarianism under different names that don't amount to much on the ground.
