Great comment. I've also found that most people willing to discuss politics are not interested in educating the individual they're talking with. It's genuinely difficult to learn...as it should be.

I think that’s why deep knowledge is so respectable. Hard to mock even crazy lefties like Chomsky, given the depth of their knowledge.
