We have someone in my office that underperforms compared to the rest of my department. When they mess up we have a meeting that addresses all of us. They are also always late to work and meetings. Corporate refuses to deal with the problem directly.

This person is the 2nd highest paid person in the office but my bosses hands are both tied because this person checks off 2 boxes on the diversity form.

But when I wear a Kanye for President shirt they lose their shit because it might offend someone.
