Climate-wise, Texas is hell on Earth.

If anyone doesn’t believe me, visit Houston in November and feel how hot and humid it is.

I don't know, NYC in august might give it a run for its money. Not only is it as humid and hot, you basically pass through a hot bubble of piss and vomit every time you walk past a subway entrance. Plus, you know, all the liberals and foreigners that are there year round as well haha

Once you have walked inside a metro system in Russia or Japan, you can never go back to what is offered in New York City as a “subway”.

Yeah, continental climates like what you find in Minnesota, for example can be pretty bad too

As a Texan... Houston is never beautiful.

San Antonio, Dallas, and Austin fags - always jealous your food is worse and you have to drive 5 hours to the beach.

I like my winters up north. Snow, cold and ice serves as a good idiot-repellent, you silly southerner ;)

If you don’t believe me, read Jared diamond’s book “guns germs and steel“ about why the Europeans conquered the new world.

Down south you got rich people from up north and real dumb people all mixed together.

It was 90 F when I visited Houston a few years ago. A coworker who considered moving there once told me that the realtors informed them that Texans living in Houston have to keep the air conditioners on 24 seven during the summertime or else the wood will warp.

Go ahead and tell me that isn’t hell lol

Then their houses were built wrong. Properly seasoned wood for construction won't warp in temperatures that are survivable for humans. There are lots of non-climate controlled shops and sheds and barns and all kinds of buildings without warped wood in Texas.

I dont live in Houston, but i've been there during the summer.

I live in San Antonio, and the weather has always been nice here.

Its all about where you live in Texas. Texas is fucking massive.

Well, realtors are retarded. This is known.

How do you think people lived on the gulf coast pre-AC? We lived in straw huts or something?

Can confirm, it's hot as hell here most of the time. Commies should stay away because Communism lowers your heat tolerance. That's why California always has wildfires, the state is trying to rid itself of the Red Fever.

Good point.

I also think communists should definitely NOT move to any other state income-tax-free states such as New Hampshire. Winters are so brutal, you know?

It’s best for them to stay somewhere safe like California ;)

We could make them all reside in LA then cut it off from everything else. Surely the communist utopians can make the perfect society there?

If things get hairy, we can send Kurt Russell in to help clear things up.

Houston November-February is really nice. 70s and low humidity.

It's the rest of the year where you don't want to go outside.

Yeah, I guess so. Still feels like bizarro world to me. I’m used to sheltering inside between November to February, heh

The funny thing is, what he proposed would get struck down immediately as it runs afoul of the first amendment. If he actually wanted results he'd go after payment processors that receive federal benefits like FDIC insurance.
