It's so goddam frustrating watching Republicans go through this same song and dance again and again. Calling it "compromise" implies that conservatives get something as well. Instead, Democrat gun-grabbers just get slightly less than they initially set out to take, while conservative constitutionalist gun owners get to watch their rights erode a little bit more every time.
