I'm a HS teacher in AZ. My principal just pulled me out of class and threatened to get me fired for not enforcing masks in my class.

We allow those clear face shields...

I am thinking; I should carry a Riot-Shield as my mask. Have someone sponsor it and put a big ol' decal on it. Videos and pictures would inevitably go viral of the teacher using a riot shield as a mask.

Sponsorship would need to be about a year salary since I would inevitably be fired and never hired again by "mask people".

Suggestions?

Any teacher that did this would be in the principals office the exact same day the assignment was put out and be ordered tl retract the assignment... + repentance + displaying a new understand of the value of wearing masks would be enforced. 100% kiss the ring situation would be in order.

Same here, also (still) by Governor. Keep your job. Do what it takes. Stay employed. Concentrate on replacing liberal employee's if possible. I busted my ass, begged for more work and more hours, and so far have replaced 3 liberals. They took my company, my livelihood, I'm taking theirs.

Yeah, I agree. If you otherwise like your job, I wouldn't get fired over the stupid mask stuff. There may come a moment in your job where you do need to draw the line in the sand, but I'm not sure a cloth face mask is it.

They have fake masks which are technically compliant but you can breathe https://fakemaskusa.com/

I ordered one, anxious to see if it actually gets me into stores or kicked out.

I wear a lace mask when I absolutely have to ( like at doctors office) and no one has ever said anything. It’s 3 layers of lace and looks solid but it totally isn’t!!!

Now they have them made of tulle, where you can't even tell it's there except around the ears.

I got kicked out of a store wearing similar. Plato's closet in Lancaster PA. Also the Salvation Army thrift store has a sign up saying "No lace or sheer material". They are getting wise to these.

Imagine actually caring enough to put up a sign.

I'd start compiling 100 years of research on the Spanish Flu. 2008 Fauci did one saying masks killed more from Bacterial pneumonia than the Spanish Flu.

CDC stats saying the majority of positive cases wore masks frequently.

Then send all that information to the parents and tell your employer they are forcing you to risk your life and the lives of your students and lawyers are being contacted.

This nonsense should have been buried in lawsuits since the 15 days when simple guidance started turning into decrees and theft.

Plant some seeds before you quit. The teachers complying are terrorizing children.

Find a legislature in your state that will write the anti discrimination laws for masks. That’s the only way out of this now.

If I were a teacher being forced to do the mask, I think I would start my own home school classes online. Everything can be recorded, edited, and uploaded to a payed youtube channel or some other kind of paywall. I home schooled my children, we did invest in videos as part of our home school classes, online recordings and DVDs. Millions of Americans would love it. Contact many homeschool organizations, I would think it would be a boon for them as well. You might play ball for a bit until you get set up doing your own thing. I have been self employed for decades, best time ever.

It’s very easy for people on here to tell you to fight the system alone. But when and if you lose your job, they won’t be there to help you pay the bills. The way to fight is in numbers. Find other like-minded teachers and parents to help you fight it.

Acceleration: Wear a full hazmat suit. Yell at anyone for refusing to do the same and accuse them of killing the elderly.

I'm confused. We just allowed the Teachers Unions to recieve $300 billion on top of $200 billion to bail out the Ponzi scheme failing pension programs, and this teacher is asking for more public help... Christ almighty we have gone into insane mode.

The school system is brutal. They waste an incredible amount of money. I'm politically shamed. Being a conservative in the teaching field makes me feel like I'm operating behind enemy lines. Its awful.

You'd wanna burn down a building if you took a look at how much money and resources schools waste.

I agree 100%. I am a concerned citizen that fights every levy passage, because I know for fact 80% of every passed levy goes into the pockets as raises for teachers, and the mere 20% left over towards actual school needs.

Just apologize. Every day. "Oops, I told them, but you know kids!" Every day. If the kids are old enough, tell them to wear one while winking and nodding. but never, ever enforce it.

Wear a face shield with letters stenciled around the edges that say "I was threatened and coerced to wear this".

This guy posted a good thread with a letter he has written for his employer. Probably a different attitude then what you want to take but its a perfect start. https://greatawakening.win/p/12hkmSuLr6/followup-i-have-an-opportunity-t/c/

Talk about your students health with a developing brain on low oxygen causing acute brain damage, at risk for bacterial pneumonia, and how it doesn’t stop the spread, it’s only for looks yet causes harm
