It occurs to me that I actually like rap and hip hop music when it is not all laden with trashy themes and curse words.
I honestly forgot I enjoyed the genre because it has been overtaken by so much nasty -- plus any song that I am literally not allowed to sing along to because of the color of my skin seems like not something I am interested in listening to...
Remember when rap was awesome? The 90s had some awesome rap music. It had its share of trash then as well, though it had some awesome artists, as well. You know diddy is a Republican? “When you hear something, make sure you hear it RIGHT. Don’t make a “ass” (donkey) out of yourself by assuming, our music keeps you moving, what are you proving?” “My songs bump in Houston like Scarface produced them” (known Republican rapper from Houston” - much more Republicans than people think, in all entertainment medium. They pander to democrats because they are siphoning money. But yes, overrun with actual leftists these days. That could also explain the imagery in many music videos. Watch the ludacris video for “move, bitch” & notice “20 I’m on the RIGHT TRACK”, trump train, red shirts during that part... It is time.
