Work with me here, please.

So you successfully negotiate a peaceful secession with a Globalist Communist tyrannical regime that hates us and wants us dead? Unlikely, but OK.

Are you going to trust Joe Biden and his sycophants, who live right on your border, to have nukes? Will they trust us? I suggest the answer to both is no.

You can't get rid of the nukes because the rest of the world isn't doing that, so you've got a bit of an unsolvable quandary.

There's more issues like currencies, treaties, infrastructure, commerce, etc...all of which would have to be negotiated and that stuff usually takes years.

Let's say you work all of that out.........I still say this is not the right path.

I don't want to give up one square inch of US soil to these communist invaders and infiltrators.

Fuck them, this is our country.

If we have a dedicated Gandhiesque non-violent tax resistance, yes. I've been a tax resister and activist since 2004. It doesn't profit them one bit to keep me as their slave or to kill me. It will only prove that they are tyrants.

If USSR can collapse, so can the corrupted regime in Washington DC.

France (EU), Britain, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Israel, and now North Korea have nukes. But no one can use nukes, it is suicide!

So they're nothing but a "while elephant", costing many billions to maintain. Evolution punishes such stupid waste of resources - businesses in nations that don't have nukes will have lower taxes and thus a competitive advantage.

With "big bad international imperial aggressor" Uncle Sam (the only nation to ever actually use nukes) breaking up, Russia, China, etc won't have the excuse to maintain theirs.

You can't get rid of the nukes because the rest of the world isn't doing that, so you've got a bit of an unsolvable quandary.

The most successful countries in the world (ex. Switzerland, Liechtenstein, San Marino, Iceland, Singapore) are doing fine without nukes.

Ukraine and other peripheral pieces of the Russian Empire / USSR gave up their nukes voluntarily. For starters we can at least greatly reduce them. But of course we shouldn't give the commies anything for free, we'll negotiate.

There's more issues like currencies, treaties, infrastructure, commerce, etc...all of which would have to be negotiated and that stuff usually takes years.

Ideally free market is the answer. But I'm OK with some government intervention, including tariffs on commie nations - shouldn't let "perfect" be the enemy of "good".

There are very small countries that have no problems negotiating those things. And the non-communist population of USA is at least 74 million. Many other people are hypocrites: there's a big difference between voting for commies and choosing to live in East Germany over West Germany, especially if you have full access to information and freedom to move. Brains and capital will flow towards greater economic freedom, until the Republican parts of USA dominate economically.

I don't want to give up one square inch of US soil to these communist invaders and infiltrators.

Without secession, they are in control.

2009 here. But this isn't secession, it's more like what I'm suggesting which is pushing back from every angle.

It will only prove that they are tyrants.

That's already been proven.

I'm going to refrain from addressing the rest of your comments because we are in disagreement about the difficulty of the logistical issues.

Without secession, they are in control.

And I suggest they aren't firmly in control quite yet and there are other ways to try to keep them from getting there.

Cheers, we'll be on the same side no matter how this goes.

Do you two just not pay taxes? I’m curious to know what tax resisters mean? How do you get away with it?

Not a conversation for a public forum. You can find plenty on this topic at Duck Duck Go.

So the founders were right how they handled it. We must follow their lead.

Very much agreed.

The Founding Fathers used every legal recourse they could and when that failed, they did what needed to be done.

We're not done using every legal recourse just yet. But we will follow their lead if we must.
