However a public statement, and their actions after the fact, will, and do, play the most important role in my choice for candidates. But, being that I am, as far as a sinful human being can be, a Godly man, I will either vote for an honest conservative Christian who won't stab me in the back, as those two have done by capitulating to the communists, or withhold my vote altogether (the wiser of the two options as voting for the devil on his honesty is still voting for the devil).

The second ammendment does not exist as offensive front. It is a defensive measure against the encroachment if tyranny. You need to study more on what the founding generation actually endured before the revolution kicked off. There were many abuses over the course of many years. Soldiers were quartered in their homes, courts were abolished. Press were arrested. Ports were shutdown and goods not allowed in our out and people were starving. We are no where near what the founders went through. Not yet. There is still time to straighten it out without bloodshed. Which no rational mind should ever want.
My point is, why did we allow it became the most important topic, along with abortion, in every election while there are other issues that do not require change of constitution.
