If you just go, very few people will stop you. When someone stops you, just very politely and kindly and with a smile say "ok thank you" and leave and never go back. Find a place that sells what they sell that doesn't give a shit.

1 year and I know who deserves my money and who does not. I drive 30 minutes more for some things, but most places don't care.

Just be confident in being right, and kind to the idiots who haven't figured it out yet.
