As other pedes have said, these people think they're starving if they get only, say, 2 Big Macs in a sitting. It's like my cat crying when the bottom of his food bowl is visible.

At one point during the interview she's rolling around a laundry cart packed with boxes, opens one of those cardboard boxes to reveal it is packed with bags and cans of staples (rice, beans, etc.) she got for free, and then she sighs and says "We'll have to stretch this for seven days."
