So I haven't really watched the TV news much in a long time. However, my workplace recently put up a TV, and the news was on (they don't have many channels to choose from), so I decided to watch while I was at the counter. Two news stations, ABC and Inside Edition (the latter has always struck me as more like celebrity gossip and "viral videos," though), both ran a story about how grandparents could hug their grandkids again, IF they got the COVID vaccine. The Inside Edition report mentioned a doctor who wrote on the second vaccination thing "you can hug your grandkids again."

So you now need a doctor's note to see your grandkids? Are you serious?

The thing tried to make itself look heartwarming, but it just came off as creepy. "Buy our product, plebeians, and we'll let you hug your grandkids again!" Anyway, that's all. It was complete junk, and I finally got to see what you're all talking about with the news firsthand.

Oh, and the Inside Edition one featured a grandmother who appears to have fallen hook, line, and sinker for all of this.
