Just finding an extended family member of mine is in the hospital for old people stuff, but no one can visit but one kid.

If it were my mother or wife, you wouldn’t stop me from seeing my family. Private business my fucking ass. People don’t sign away their freedom by going to the hospital. It’s not a fucking prison

Anyone involved in this practice in hospitals is going to be remembered like the fucking nazis they are

My wife is being moved from a LTAC to a "skilled nursing facility" next week. Both are owned by the same entity, and they are literally joined together by a back hallway.

At the hospital, I can see her as long as I want from 11a - 8p.

After she's moved, I:

have to call to make an appointment
can only come at 1 of 3 designated time slots
can only stay 1 hour
must have a negative coof test on file and have to be retested every 14 days

We're hoping she only has to be there for a few weeks for rehab. We tried getting home health, but all of them rejected her.
