Trump hired William Barr and you're surprised he underestimated how corrupt the judicial system is? Trump's had good ideas and goals but he's not without flaw. He certainly underestimated OUR enemies and trusted the GOP way too much... Just like the rest of us.
I think they had faith in scotus that the fraud was so blatant they would have to act, turns out scotus was just as corrupt and swampy as the rest.
