For everyone freaking out about the Gun Control bill passing HOUSE, don't. Here's why.
THE RESISTANCE
I know everyone's upset that HOUSE REPUBS (read;RINO TRAITORS), much of them, voted on the bill that MAY violate the second amendment, yet the House has been boneheaded ever since it went full lefty, so this was to be expected.
Not even liberals and black people these days go for gun control (for their own reasons), and I understand the freakout and betrayal, but here's why you should ease yourself.
Even though it left house, it now has to reach SENATE for it to go back to house, and be signed by Biden, and senate, despite dem majority, is gonna kill that shit in the house, because they're afraid of the shitstorm and resistance that's gonna happen. Won't even pass filibuster, mark my words.
Maybe you are right, but I dont trust the congress-snakes to not completely screw us... and now I cant even trust the supreme court to support the constitution.
So, its looking pretty damned grim from my perspective. Im sure my congress critters are sick of hearing from me every day.

In order to ram anything through, the Democrats would first have to eliminate the filibuster, and they won’t do that. Why am I so confident? Because they just came out of being the minority where they used it a lot. They’re also one Senator away from being in the minority again.
Plus the last time they fucked with the filibuster it fucked them right back, and Mitch got a ton of “freebie” judicial and SCOTUS appointments out of it, since the Democrats couldn’t block him.
Manchin is about the only forward-thinking Democrat at this point, and I think we can count on him to continue to be against making rule changes.
