Nah, on towers it's either high voltage or the fall that will kill you. On cell towers like that. There isn't really any bare radiating antenna. The ones that will fry you are Microwave emitters and am/fm towers since the antenna are in most cases directly exposed to the elements.
There is a large amount of power (unlike walkie talkies) and it can arc through you. The tower transfers power between unconnected parts in some places. By design it arcs between peices. If your in the wrong place it might add you to a electrical path. Even if the power is going down a rail it is still dangerous to be close to in some areas... Places the engineers know about but we do not.
I don't think radio waves are harmful. I think being too close to a device moving this much electricity around, over exposed areas, is dangerous.
Worked in radio for over 10 years. You don't know what your talking about. You'll get someone killed. Engineers, in radio, trade pictures of people who were killed fooling around with radio towers... They had a lot of pictures... None from falls.
Woah, hope that wasn't some random Joe climbing up there.
Those cell towers can uh, do some damage to your man parts if I'm not mistaken.
Other than that, A+.
The time, energy and equipment necessary to achieve such a feat would lead me to believe it was probably a based cell-tower tech and not some rando.
And radio towers will kill you.
So do not do this if your not a engineer who knows this stuff.
How so? Genuine question, not snarky. I assume there's more to it than "you can fall off"

They're mildly radioactive given they give out energy.
Enough non ionizing radiation direct exposure will still fry your balls

My thoughts exactly!
At least a six pack !
I was thinking a truck load worth!
Hell yeah, lifetime supply of beer! That’s epic!
I want to put him in office. Whoever it is has more balls than the entire GOP combined.
FUCK YEAH!! real men of genius 15 n in Commiefornia
A Bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue.
Minimum...
I say life time supply!!
I think it needs to go in a tall glass.
They're called steeplejacks. Nice to know some jobs haven't gone away.
I have access to nearly every rooftop in downtown Orlando and it has been so tempting to hang flags but I just can't risk losing my job over a troll.
What about that ugly Channel 55 building? Or is that on I-4.
The i4 eye sore
I was curious if I could drop one or a few of these around here on towers with drones or something.
Beautiful.
Thats amazing
I want to get this guy more flags.
us that a 5g tower?
And we will get more childhood brain cancers. Fuck 5g
I wanna do that but it looks scary
They are probably dead from getting close to all those fucking huge antennas.
I wouldn't climb that thing for any message
