You know the great thing about The King when George had to fight him. He was in bloody England you tart. It wasn't like the king was "Make the money machine go brrrr" and George ripped open his shirt started going postal shooting everyone between him and the King before jumping into the rowboat and paddling his way over to England where he took on the entire English army single handedly and then paddled back in time for a boston tea party where they burned down buildings and looted target. And everyone then clapped and jizzed for George Washington.

There was a lot, and I mean, a lot of work that went on for the revolutionary war. It wasn't something where every twobit mallninja larper grabbed himself a shooty mcshooterton and then just started flinging bullets around indiscriminately like a democrat in a orgy. The Boston Tea Party for example was a very planned event that they didn't post in the morning gazette that they were going to dump the tea in the harbor. They had a specific goal and action in mind.

It took around 10 years after the stamp act was enacted by the King before they kicked off the revolutionary war.
