He's culpable for something, for sure, but not 2nd degree murder...Autopsy confirmed how he died. How he was treated by Chauvin was sociopathic and police brutality, but that had nothing to do with how he died. As for your comment as to why good cops get killed, you mean mean murdered, and no, they get murdered because of low iq sociopath's, just like Chauvin...Also, he is going free...
