Homeschooling. I heard a great argument in favor of homeschooling because on the Babylon Bee podcast, the hosts said, "well I couldn't do a better job". And the guest said really? Are you going to indocrinate your kid, tell them they need to be ashamed of their skin color and tell them homosexuality and transgenderism is virtuous and good? Then you're already better than teachers. You don't have to be the best teacher in the world, you just have to be better than public schools which if you teach your kid and you don't fill their heads with poisounous ideas, you're automatically better.
I was in public school, but I was born right at the tail end of normalcy. I was born in 92, so I just barely made it out of the propogandizing. They were doing it a lot in high school where I went, but I was already conservative by that point and wasn't influenced by it. But if I were to ever have a kid, I'm never sending them to public school.
I'd rather my kid be "stupid and ignorant" than evil and brainwashed.
Why do you think your child NEEDS preschool though? Look into finding a (fully vetted) daycare provider, even in home. Many work with kids on the same skills that are taught in preschool without the indoctrination.
Sure, after all the lockdowns here some socialism was preferred over none. You are right in the regard that waiting a year is still an option but I am just shocked that it is so widespread that I can't find at least a non political option. I am definitely getting out of this city before I have to enroll in grade schools.
Join a local parenting social media group, try finding one's related to homeschooling, personal freedom, etc. The mom's in those groups will steer you in the right direction for a place close to you that offers traditional education without the sjw agenda.
Are you looking at ones run out of churches? (Where I live, almost all preschools are run out of churches. There are a few that are kinda cucked, but most aren't.)
That's what annoys me most about comments here where people say "leave your kids out of politics". Unless you homeschool, your kids will be exposed to Marxist indoctrination, even at the preschool level, apparently. A responsible parent, who cares about their children's future, needs to constantly counter that negative crap and instill their kids with values like liberty, self reliance, and patriotism. You don't need to go Alex Jones level on your 5 yr old, but you DO need to teach them why America is exceptional. Otherwise they will become the America-hating, antihuman commies that their lazy, pathetic teachers want them to be.

Churches or Christian Schools
There are loads just about everywhere
*I'm not very religious but I'll let my kids go to chapel for an hour at school as opposed to the alternative
Home schooling 👍✌💖
That is all by design.

None that I can afford. I've been looking at co-ops. At least I will be there to correct anyone spewing commie trash

Seattle was lost years ago.
Homeschooling, sure. Pods. Great opportunities for "new schools".
