My Rep run town in a Dem controlled state just put up big signs sayings "per Governors order no groups more than XX" at all the parks and looked the other way. They "closed" the swing sets, slides, etc. with one measly piece of caution tape to "comply" with the orders.

There's a group of ticked off local housewives who are organizing locally. I'm more involved in statewide and national issues, but when they invited me to their meetings, I was impressed. They are going to take over every bit of the local political scene, from School Board on down.

Exactly. I’ve seen groups of friends gathering this whole time playing basketball all spring and summer last year, going out to eat, etc.
They still haven't put the rims back up in San Diego. The skate park is open, but I can't go shoot hoops by myself.

If you can get on MCAS Miramar, they have rims up by the on base hotel.
