Just a bit of background on the company at the center of accusations of Election fuckery.

AVANTE INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGY is a company with original patents for Ballot Optical Scan technology in use by a variety of voting machine companies. Sequoia Voting Systems, Inc (purchased by Dominion on June 4, 2010) entered into a court ordered settlement agreement to pay Avante for use of that technology.

Dominion failed to pay the money according to a pre-arranged settlement agreement and instead opted to fight the order in court. Dominion lost.

For the forgoing reasons, Plaintiffs (Avante) are entitled to judgment as a matter of law with respect to their claim that Defendant (Dominion) breached the Settlement Agreement, and are entitled to damages in the amount of the settlement payments due under the agreement, and costs pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 54(d).
