It's the difference between marking someone for being black vs marking them for being Muslim.
One cannot be a choice, the other one absolutely is.
You can dislike the whole COVID19 issue, and believe you should have the choice to wear a mask or not, or be tested or not, etc. But it doesn't change that those are choices that relate to you posing a potential risk to those around you.... in contrast to marking someone for their ancestry that they can do nothing about.
