FDR started that shit back during the depression. He's to thank for a lot of the socialist bullshit we have to put up with these days. I know a lot of his programs put a lot of people to work, but once this bullshit starts, it never goes away, and eventually grows out of control.

Partially true. It was a Randall's when he visited. Randall's is a subsidiary of Kroger which is now part of Albertsons.

Keynes always loved a good war to reduce uemployment...if the men are all dead or in foreign country..magic..poverty disappears...yay!
