Holy s***, I get ignorant, and sometimes, but this is the worst. If you are at the bottom, you can only rise. If you stay at the bottom, at least there will be punishment and push back on the elites. I am moderately financially successful, which is why it is easier for me to make these statements. My buddies that make six figures, are very beholden to the status quo
yeah i agree with this, those that have nothing to lose when pushed fight the hardest. Those with things to lose are more hesitant as to not lose/most cost-effective solution as to lose as little as possible.

Perfectly put, it really is a form of blackmail. Never thought of it that way.
